This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Students in our school's science classes often have reading projects where they need to pick a book and read about a non-fiction topic that relates to their classwork.
Our students are high achievers who are curious about the world around them and need access to new science texts.
Your support of this project will allow students to access engaging texts that show the stories behind technological advancements and the science they are studying in physics, biotechnology, forensics and other higher level science courses. These titles will also encourage students to read non-fiction texts as part of their leisure reading practice.
