My Project
The toiletry items we're requesting are more than just basic supplies—they are a key part of ensuring our students can fully engage in their learning environment. Many of our students face challenges that go beyond academics, such as financial instability or lack of access to basic hygiene products. These needs often create a barrier to their self-esteem and focus, as students may feel self-conscious or distracted by their inability to address personal hygiene. By providing essential toiletries, we can help alleviate this concern, empowering our students to walk into school each day feeling confident, clean, and ready to learn without the added stress of basic needs being unmet.
Our goal for this project is twofold: first, to meet the immediate hygiene needs of our students, and second, to foster a sense of dignity and normalcy that allows them to perform at their best in the classroom.
When students don’t have to worry about something as fundamental as soap, deodorant, or sanitary products, they are better able to concentrate, participate, and contribute to their school community. We want to create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and able to focus on their academic and personal growth.
