This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our Alternative High School provides education and support to the city of Milwaukee's at-risk youth.
Groppi's primary goal is to meet the educational needs of students ages 16-21.
Groppi is located in the heart of the city. Our educational program is designed to improve students’ attitude, attendance record, work habits, social skills and academic achievement.
Student programs are mostly half-day with opportunities for extended days for qualifying students.
The students who attend Groppi are intelligent, resourceful, strong, and resilient.
These students need an opportunity to shine and show their true potential.
The students at Groppi thrive when they are valued and appreciated. They seek guidance and opportunity.
We have some amazing staff and support at Groppi who value the future of every student that attends our school.
My Project
Students at Groppi are in need of health resources. Providing the students will toiletries and opportunities to stay healthy will only increase the likelihood of their success. The students at our school run into unimaginable barriers on a daily basis. Keeping healthy and clean should not not be one of these barriers. Please support us in funding toiletries and sanitary items for our students in need.
The students at Groppi are appreciative and grateful.
Any opportunity to help them gain self worth and self care will be greatly appreciated. Please help us make a difference in the lives of our students.
