My Students

My students are first graders with an eagerness to learn. When students recognize their ability to read and write, their eyes light up with excitement that conveys the message that they have accomplished a huge milestone! As a young, struggling reader, I celebrate with them in working so hard to become outstanding readers!

Learning the fundamentals of reading and then becoming awesome readers is not only a must with first graders, but is also a huge boost to a child's self-esteem.

The ability to communicate through reading and writing is a lifetime skill. Now is the time for our students to accomplish goals and celebrate in their learning!!

My Project

Keeping up to date with current books and technology will provide assist students in excelling in reading, while giving them new, exciting topics that are engaging and informative. Having a variety of books helps students have the desire to read.

COVID has seriously impacted all of our students, however, our students are amazing and will not let anything get in their way of success!

iPads provide students with access to technology and resources to aid and enhance student learning! Students are able to tap into a variety of literacy
