Help me give my students security and safety in these unsettling times. These partitions will provide them the opportunity to sit at the same table 3 feet apart from peers with the added security of a clear barrier.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the youngest lions in our PRIDE. Our neighborhood may have its challenges but school is our stability. In Pre-K we learn about everything from social skills, problem-solving, school readiness, emergent curriculum, and general life foundational skills.
The early years are crucial for young children to set a strong foundation that provides balance and confidence in their future.
During this time, children are exposed to experiences that teach them about the world around them and finding their place in it. It is the role of the teacher to show children what they are capable of and to introduce them to all opportunities for growth and learning.
My Project
The experiences my children have in our classroom will be difficult this year. But, by keeping them physically distant, we can still learn about one another and form relationships. These table dividers allow my students to work near their new friends while staying at a safe distance.
With these on our tables, we can see each other still and share our work.
These acrylic dividers can lock on the table to secure and stay in place. Furthermore, they could be turned into art easels when social distancing guidelines are no longer necessary.
