My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my student will expose them to various genres and encourage them to read more. We just need your help in adding new books to our classroom library and literacy centers. The book sets will allow us to read independently, partner read, and engage in book studies to develop a deeper level of reading comprehension. More importantly, build our love for reading.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful reading.

By implementing these books into our Literacy Centers and Reader's Workshop model, my students will begin to see themselves as true readers. My hope is that the mentored texted will lend itself in build my students into strong writer's and illustrators. We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long readers, learners, and leaders. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on Reader's Workshop in the primary grades. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
