Please help me give my students a place to sit and read their books and share reading with other struggling students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating encourages students to choose what works best during independent reading time. Currently, my students are choosing to work in various locations in our room, such as at different tables, sitting under the table, and sitting in a corner with books. I have noticed a difference in my students when they are given choices about where to sit instead of just being at their desks. Sometimes, they will read independently; sometimes, they partner up with a struggling reader. I also noticed that they are more eager to read and make good choices when they are comfortable. They are more engaged in their work and less disruptive because they choose.
The bean bags that I have selected will help my students by giving them another place to sit and complete their independent or group reading.
They are easy to move around in, and students will still have a choice of where to sit. I hope that this option will continue to encourage my students to read.
