Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to have a variety of books in my library. The majority of my students are minorities.
I want to have books that they can see themselves in.
Books that will help them dream big.
Also, the ink, paper and markers will help us with coming up with activities that will bring comprehension. Print out games that will help sequence the stories, markers to draw and retell anything that will help bring joy to reading.
I don’t want them to think of reading as a chore but to learn how to enjoy reading.
All of these materials will help me teach them how to love reading and become dreamers and critical thinkers.
