Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of our students read below grade level. We have a new adaptive program, Lexia Power Up, to assist the students with filling in their skill gaps in reading so they can progress to reading on grade level.
The program combines online skill practice and training with teacher-led interventions which assist with student success and growth.
The program requires headphones for each student in order to progress so they can interact with the skill practice.
Many of students do have headphones, but some do not and we do not want those students to miss out on this opportunity to develop their reading prowess.
