This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When I was little I was fortunate that Mrs. Johnson made sure all of her students could find something that interests them in the classroom library. This allowed all of her students the ability to find something they wanted to read when they had free time. Now that I have my own classroom, I want to provide the same opportunity to my students so they can also enjoy reading as much as I did when I was their age.
I would like to take her concept to the next level and provide a robust classroom library that could allow me to let students borrow books and "check them out" like a real library.
With your help, this project could be funded before the holidays and they would be able to carry on their reading habits during the winter breaks. Thank you for considering this project while spreading holiday cheer and helping these future leaders.
