This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to give my students a reading nook they want to go to and enjoy. My current library has a broken bookshelf and feels a bit cold. I want to turn my library into a reading nook kids will want to be in!
If they are excited to be in the reading nook, they will be more excited about reading.
I can get new shelves to store and display books with this project. I will be able to put down a cozy rug for students to sit on and get comfortable. There is nothing I like more than to lie down to read and I want my students to be able to have that experience at school.
