Many of my students have just arrived in this country. This is their first experience in English-speaking culture and their first time attending school! I have a lot of work to do with developing their language, comprehension, and literacy skills so they can succeed in Kindergarten. Since my students are only 3, 4, and 5 years old, they require lots of tangible, interactive, and colorful materials in order to remain engaged. The resources I've chosen are literacy and language-based such as alphabet blocks, word puzzles, writing tablets, and spelling games - they will help foster their phonemic awareness skills as well as phonics and letter knowledge. Thank you for helping my sweeties get a head start in literacy and life!
