Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and unique home situations where sometimes school may be their only safe and comfort place. Our school represents a large group of low-income students that would benefit from having books that they may be able to relate with and to help them learn skills to help them cope.
My students are always eager to learn and grow and never give up.
They bring enthusiasm and curiosity to all activities. They are very grateful and excited when they have new materials that help them learn.
My students are striving everyday to succeed. With the use of these supplies they will be learning to use their creativity, engage in social and emotional learning, as well as encouraging them to comfortably participate in class.
