My Project

After teaching in the same school for 29 years, I have made the exciting switch to a new grade at a new school. What makes this school special is that it has the highest poverty rate in the city, but the students and staff are just amazing! We are always on the go in my fourth grade classroom. Learning never stops! My students are so eager and motivated to learn, even though they are at such diverse academic levels. A good projector is such an important staple of the modern classroom. Most learning and modeling happens with the help the projector. Digital tools are used now more than ever. My daily instruction uses visual slides to create student engagement and focus. Sadly, our classroom projector is so old, I have to turn off the lights in order for the students to see and the clarity is so poor. A new projector would make a HUGE positive impact on our academic success and learning.
