This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These albums will continue to enhance the environment that I strive to create in my classroom. My classroom is a place where my students learn through projects! Throughout the year we create emotional learning projects and art projects using geometric figures. I take pictures of my students doing these projects and we later create scrapbook pages to save these memories. All of the students have to include a short writing about the activity in every page. This provides meaningful prompts that can improve their writing skills.

At the end of the year the students will be able to see all the things we've done this year.

I think that the best way to increase my students' writing skills is by providing prompts that important, meaningful, and relevant to their lives, and these albums will continue to help my students grow stronger in writing. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in their projects and this project will only help enrich their experiences with arts, math and writing.
