My students need cellos to play on, cases to protect the cellos, and keyboard benches to sit on in music class!

My Students
My older students started their journey two years ago as string ensemble musicians. In order to expand the music program, we need more cellos for more players in our class. We also need keyboard benches for out Keyboard Lab so students are able to sit while playing their instruments!
Many of my students come from struggling backgrounds and music allows them to express themselves creatively as individuals and as a team.
In music class, my students explore singing, playing instruments, and all kinds of music in the world around them. As the music program expands, I would love for all of my students to continue having the necessary materials they need to learn and make music!
My Project
With new cellos, each cello player will be able to play on his or her own cello as the music program continues to expand. A new case will protect a classroom cello that currently needs a case for practice at home. With new keyboard benches, students will no longer have to stand while playing the keyboard, but sit as pianists ready to tickle the ivories and grow as musicians!
Playing an instrument with the proper learning materials and being part of an ensemble are unique opportunities that I want my students to have as they continue to grow as musicians.
