Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the weather finally starts to warm up and feel like springtime, my students have been asking if we can plant some vegetables and I would truly love to have a class garden for my students to see how hard work can pay off!

Having a class garden will create many new learning opportunities in regards to science and healthy eating habits.

The items we are requesting include soil, pots, seeds and a butterfly kit so that we can also learn about the life cycle of butterflies and release them into our garden when they are ready!

From plant life cycles and taking care of living things to harvesting the garden and using our harvest to make and try new foods, this garden would be an amazing addition for our students to enjoy!
