My students need a Chromebook with a sleeve and mouse to access interventions, assignments, and assessments.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wilson's classroom raised $297
This project is fully funded
My Students
I teach in a Philadelphia school that qualifies for Title 1 funding. My students all qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Most of my students come from single parent households and some are being raised by extended family members or a foster family.
My students come to school to work, to learn and to have fun even when much needed supplies are in short supply.
They are hard-working and are understanding when items are lacking. They may lack supplies but they have an abundant amount of enthusiasm for education.
My Project
No matter the district or the school, students need to have access to some forms of technology on a regular basis. Our school and district has recently purchased new reading and math materials which both are supported with computer-based interventions.
In order to move toward a 21st Century classroom, students MUST have access to technology daily.
Students will use the Chromebook to access intervention and enrichment applications. They will use the Chromebook with a mouse to take online assessments which can be graded and provide immediate feedback. Teachers will readily have access to student results which will guide instruction. Reports generated can be shared with the class and communicated to parents.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
