Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The school year 2020-2021 will be my second year teaching and the majority of my students are from low-income families. Our school is a Title I school in Nevada. The school is able to offer 100% of our students' free breakfast and lunch. As a teacher, I noticed that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

My Project

This project is to help life to my library and online resources. Lesson materials that will help interpret essential standards better. Lessons will be more effective and the books will help increase STEM and cultural knowledge. I want to give my students interesting books and distance learning material to help their learning whether they are in school or at home. Being able to provide important books to my students and essential distance learning material will enable my students to become more knowledgeable and engage even during these unrepresented times of distance learning!
