To Hear Or Not To Hear... Headphones Make A Difference

Help me give my students a class set of headphones. This way each child will be able to listen to reading or do their online assessments without being distracted by someone else's technology.

My Students

I have a fantastic group of kids that are full of energy and life. They are creative, enthusiastic, and they are discovering a love of learning. It is so wonderful to see them quietly enjoying a good fit book, but it is also inspiring to see what they are capable of when I let them work together to solve problems or complete a task.

They make it fun to come to work each day.

We have a very diverse class which has taught them how to find the unique qualities in each other that add to our class dynamic. They respect each other and they understand that we are in this together.

My Project

We have a class full of students that are using technology. Some students may be on a reading program online, while others are listening to a book on CD. We do a lot of online assessments as well. Sometimes it is difficult for students to hear what they are listening to because we don't have a class set of headphones. They try to spread out around the room to make it easier, but it doesn't always help.

The headphones that we do have are not the best quality, so they are uncomfortable for the students.

I feel like new headphones would help enhance their learning experience, as well as allow me to collect more accurate data.
