My students are from many different backgrounds. Our school is very diverse as we serve students from low to high socioeconomic groups. It is located in a coastal town in South Carolina. I teach all subjects to 25 fourth graders in a self-contained classroom.
My class has many strengths, they truly value learning.
As a widely diverse classroom, we need diverse tools and strategies to help us learn. The students in my classroom work well together and make our classroom a great place to be!
These materials will give my students the opportunity to see plants growing from seed to adult plant. The awesome Teaching Tank allows plants to grow in a gel medium so the roots are visible. The Greenhouse will help us grow flowers to use with our butterflies!
These materials will get the kids excited about our Plants and Animals unit as well as our Weather unit!
The math game will be so much fun and will improve the students fluency and problem solving skills as well as visual processing! Fluency is so important but can be a bore for students to practice. This game is similar to a crossword puzzle and can be played by up to 8 players at a time!
