My Students
My students are special because they are all nestled together in an ICT remote classroom, highlighting there vast abilities of learning.
I service low-income students with high expectations of receiving the best education possible without restrictions.
My students are required to complete online activities and assessments with no/minimal distractions. Many of my students don't have tablets or i-pads to complete required assessments or properly be able to see what's being presented to them through our Google Meet platform of remote instruction. Receiving at least two electronic devices will greatly impact their success and reduce the frustration of completing assessments. The basic school supplies like notebooks, pencils, glue, crayons, markers, and scissors will allow students to confidently complete assignments since technology is never reliable and sometimes not used for all instruction. Just because my students are remotely learning doesn't mean that the core materials needed for learning are tossed to the side.
When technology fails, paper and pencils will always prevail.

My Project
Tablets and core writing materials received will be used remotely to complete asynchronous and synchronous assignments and assessments like projects and reports. When students are required to do work in their workbooks, they either can't find a pencil or don't have one. When students misplace their workbook, then being able to write in a notebook is the next best tool to keep notes organized. Since the assessments can only be completed on a screen bigger than 8", a tablet will be given to the student that has the most challenging circumstance.
