Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As the year comes to a close, it is time to think of what worked well and what can help my students the next school year. My class consists of students with different abilities and require different modes of learning as well as an environment that is structured. My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment that will not only assist them as they rotate to different stations, which they will have access to, but will also give them a space that they feel motivated to learn.
The items requested will allow my students to have a variety of forms of learning, that will lead them towards success.
The items such as the sentence strips and building letters will help the students for their letter recognitions and writing. The building table requested will allow the students to work on their building and motor skills. Other items such as folders and pencil pouches are materials needed for their morning activities as well as a portfolio of amazing work. The art and building table is also a station that the students will utilize and cooperate with one another and will assist their communication and social skills.
My students are special because they come to school ready to learn and work hard to achieve their goals. Despite the label my students may have, they show what they are capable of and surpass the expectations. The items requested, will be of use, to motivate my student to excel and achieve their academic and social skills.
