The end of the school year is always a time for reflection. Reflecting on classroom management. Reflecting on resources, I wish I had improved lessons. During the many phases of instruction, I would love to walk around the class to keep students focused and engaged with the lesson. Sometimes students need redirection by way of close proximity. That's impossible, considering instruction is given from the board or computer. With the continuous walking around the class monitoring students during instruction, guided practice, and collaboration, a class tablet would be a great addition to the class.
Donating to this project will help to purchase a designated Surface Pro tablet allocated to the class.
This device will be used as a board away from the Promethean board by using the duplicate screen feature. This feature will allow me to use OneNote to annotate notes from anywhere in the classroom. I also plan to use the device to control apps such as Google Slides and Quizizz. This tablet will not only help me become a mobile teacher but also put me in a position to better help my students.
