My Students

My school consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who are all looking to improve their physical fitness on all different levels. During our physical education classes, we try to introduce a variety of ways for students to be physically fit for life.

Our students come to class each and every day, highly motivated to learn new skills that they can take with them and use throughout the rest of their lives.

The students are always looking for new activities to learn and increase their fitness levels through challenging ways.

Middle school students are at a crucial time in their lives where we, as teachers, can make a major impact on their physical fitness. Our students are more than willing to try new activities and if we can show more ways for them to be physically fit, then we will have done our job.

My Project

Our students at GMS are eager to learn new sports each time they arrive in a physical education class. Tkouchball is a team sport that will teach our students how to perform in a team setting and work on their team chemistry goals. This sport will allow our students to work on their striking skills as well as their cardiovascular endurance.

A new sport always motivates our students to work together on ways to be successful, and reflect on ways in which they struggled.

Teaching our students this new sport will allow them to learn another life long activity to enhance their physical fitness.
