My Students

In my transitional kindergarten classroom, we are focused on Social Emotional Learning through lessons and play. Transitional Kindergarten, or TK, is a grade level in California for scholars born between September 1 and December 3 and who are not eligible to start Kindergarten due to age. I've been told that my classroom is a 'magical place' and through learning and laughing, my students and I create a community of mutual respect and love. My school is located in the Oakland hills and has a diverse student population of both neighborhood and out of neighborhood kids.

My Project

Our beautiful and diverse class is lacking a printer and a photo printer. We take about ten field trips a year to extend our learning and experience all the wonderful opportunities we have in the Bay Area. We also take monthly pictures to capture our growth through the year. We love sharing our pictures with our school and each other. A photo printer would make it much easier to share! A printer would help us publish our words to share with our community. Please help our room become a classroom filled with our adventures throughout the 2018-2019 school year. Thank you!
