This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having transitional kindergarteners join my classroom has been a fun and lively experience. Four year olds have so much energy and enthusiasm for learning about everything. For most, this is their first time in a learning setting and are still wanting to learn through play.

“Play is fundamentally important for learning 21st century skills, such as problem solving, collaboration, and creativity.” - American Academy of Pediatrics

In order to create a space where my students have access to play based learning, I am requesting building, STEM, fine motor skills, and art supply materials of all sorts! I need bins and organizational supplies to complete our play area. This project will bring so much joy, creativity, and learning to our class!
