This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher working with both general education and special education students, I’m seeking support to provide essential supplies that will help them succeed academically, particularly in the areas of math word problems and individualized education. These supplies will make a huge difference in supporting both their organizational skills and their ability to annotate, take notes, and engage with their learning.

Here’s a breakdown of the items we need to help my students:

Pens, Sticky Notes, and Highlighters – These tools will allow students to effectively annotate and highlight key information in math word problems, enhancing their ability to break down and understand complex tasks. These supplies are essential for note-taking and making sure students can easily refer back to important concepts when solving problems.

Elastic Rubber Bands – These simple yet essential tools will be used to bind together students' IEP (Individualized Education Program) information and other important documents. Keeping this information organized is crucial to providing personalized support for each student and ensuring they receive the services they need.

Your support will enable my students to stay organized, focused, and prepared for success. By contributing to this project, you’re providing resources that will enhance their learning experience and help them thrive in both math and their individual education plans.

Thank you for your generosity and commitment to helping students reach their full potential. Your contribution will have a lasting impact on their educational journey.
