My Project

Hello! I teach special education at a Title I elementary school, where my resilient learners face unique challenges every day. My students inspire me with their determination, but they need the right tools to unlock their full potential. I am requesting donations to provide them with a new set of books designed for 4th-grade readers, food and candy for snacks and rewards, and a CVC letter game that supports early reading skills.

The books will help improve their comprehension and reading fluency, critical for their success across subjects.

The CVC letter game is a hands-on tool to build foundational phonics skills, reinforcing the sound-letter relationships they need to start reading on their own. Having food and candy in the classroom will also ensure that my students remain focused and fed, a crucial factor since many of them come to school hungry.
