Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a Dual Language Title 1 school. My students come from low income households where they are not able to have much access to technology. As we continue to face financial instability at schools our technology is suffering. My students do not have the ability to purchase their own laptops so we have to share amongst our campus. I am asking for a laptop and chargers that we can use in class when we are reading, writing, and learning to type.
Technology opens the door to learning outside of just school.
With this computer I am providing my students with access to learn skills beyond reading and writing for example coding, typing, software skills. All of the students I service will be immensely grateful to have an extra computer hey can share in class. Thank you for helping out in any way that you can!
