My Students
I am an ENL Teacher (formerly known as ESOL). This school year, 2021-2022, I teach both the Regents and non-Regents classes. All students are back at school in person and I am very excited to finally see my students face-to-face (or eye-to eye). My students are all English Language Learners with various levels of English proficiency. I know I am here to help them and make them feel welcomed!
My Project
This is the time of a year when the weather in upstate New York is getting colder and colder. Majority of my students are walkers, not bus riders. During this type of season, students get mild colds, sinusitis, or just runny nose issues. My classroom is in a need of facial tissues. Facial tissue may seem like an ordinary, everyday item. However, when you’re in a classroom filled with teary eyes and runny noses, it quickly becomes apparent just how critical it is to have good facial tissue on hand. For that reason, I would like to get a year supply of tissue boxes for my students.
