This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

To end the school year on a good note and prepare for the following school year, my students would benefit from pocket tissues, magnets, and pencils.

The pocket tissue will come in handy as many students are getting sick with the change of weather and not all of their classrooms have tissue.

By having access to pocket tissues, students may take a packet as needed to ensure they can blow their noses when necessary.

Our classroom will also benefit from magnets to be able to hang our curtains up to keep the sun out since we rely on the Promethean Board, and the sunlight tends to interfere with the screen.

Finally, pencils are always a must for my students and other students in the building. I am one of few teachers known to have an abundance of supplies, and I feel honored that others can ask for a writing utensil in order to complete their assignments in other classes.
