This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

If the sky is the limit, we are headed to the moon!

These technology innovations bring my students a sense of technology with out adding additional screen time to their developing minds.

These technology tools are going to be the quality education they remember when they look back because they felt the pride and satisfaction of the activities they participated in. These kids need the ultimate applied experience to prepare them to be life long learners.

Our class is made up of students from a low income area. The students cherish the little things that make their education engaging. These students may not always have the English vocabulary to explain their ideas, but they sure can build it. These students choose hands-on learning over screen time every chance they get.

They enjoy problem solving and the time they have to play, laugh, explore, and try new things. Students from different backgrounds come together to work through problems and build critical thinking skills without even knowing it!

My Project

Students will have the opportunities to create and connect our curriculum to their background knowledge and new innovative ideas targeting learners to think critically and problem solve in literacy, math, science and more!

The possibilities are endless!

Incorporating technology in positive ways will fill the students desires for technology without adding to their ever growing screen time. These technology aspects bring in a higher level of critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving to any lesson.

When learning about the three little pigs students can test out building structures with the 3D pens. When learning about shapes, students can demonstrate their knowledge by creating them in 3D. When retelling a story, the students can use the robots to construct the story in the classroom and reenact the setting and events to demonstrate their comprehension.

These materials will emphasize collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication to begin to prepare students for college and career readiness. Students will start to feel a sense of confidence in their abilities and motivate them to consider their futures as thinkers.
