This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners are full of wonder, giggles, and so many questions. They are curious about everything, and I love how they see the world with wide eyes and open hearts.
Big questions deserve big answers, and that’s why we need Scholastic Readers.
Not just to help them learn to read, but to help them read to learn about their world. These fun, colorful magazines cover topics like communities, holidays, helpers, animals, and traditions from all around the globe. They turn big social studies ideas into bite-sized lessons perfect for little learners.
With each issue, my students will learn how we live, work, and care for each other in a community. They’ll also get to explore new people, places, and cultures. It’s like taking a field trip without ever leaving our rug!
These readers will help spark important conversations, build early reading skills, and make learning about the world feel exciting and fun. With your help, we can open a magazine and open their minds.
