This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Graduation is such a special time of year—especially for our kindergarteners!
After a year filled with learning, growth, and exploration, there’s nothing quite like seeing their proud, beaming faces as they walk across the stage, feeling like the stars they are!
Unfortunately, our school budget doesn’t cover the cost of caps and gowns, and we don’t believe that burden should fall on our families. Every child deserves to feel celebrated, no matter their circumstances.
That’s why we’re hoping to purchase a class set of reusable caps and gowns that can be used year after year. Not only will this help create a lasting tradition at out school, but it will also ensure that our future marine biologists, doctors, engineers, teachers, artists, and world changers are recognized and honored during this meaningful milestone.
