Tiny Desk for Flexible Space

Help me give my students a desk for flexible space to encourage movement and learning.

My Project

My students are curious, hard-working, and eager to learn! Technology is integrated into every subject and I use my computer regularly. I use my computer to guide us through shared reading, questioning, vocabulary, math concepts, and more. With a traditional teacher desk, you are tied down to one location.

These supplies would help untether me from my desk and computer.

I could roll my desk around and use the presenter tool to seamlessly work through Google Slides, SAVVAS math presentations, and phonics practice. Moving around the classroom allows me to manage behaviors and facilitate learning. This benefits ALL students because more students will be on task and getting the support they need. Being freed up means I move around and join more conversations! I can work near different students throughout the day which benefits students because they will get immediate feedback. Additionally, I want to give students the freedom to move around the classroom to work. Having a small, mobile desk provides more seating opportunities for my students.
