My Students
I work with an increasingly rare genre of students who don't mind putting in hard work to create a great product. They are smart and willing to work hard and have fun at the same time. They love to stay busy and have lots of variety in their instruction.
Fortunately, there are a lot of them in this growing music program.
Sometimes we are missing items that are needed to enrich their instruction and add variety and efficiency to the experience.
My Project
One of the most important percussion instruments in a Percussion Ensemble and Concert Band are the timpani. Over the years the heads of the timpani stretch and wear out, which makes it so that they cannot be tuned properly and do not sound as good.
I want to replace the old heads I have with brand new ones that are known for durability and excellent sound production.
These will last for many many years and serve not only all of my percussion students, but even all who listen and enjoy our music.
