My Students

I have the pleasure of teaching students who have been diagnosed with special needs. They come from all walks of life and it is my job to ensure they receive the tools that they need to be successful not only in the classroom but in life.

The students are in grades K-3 and have a love for learning and are very curious.

The students I have the pleasure of working with this year have very diverse needs and I look to provide for each of them individually.

My Project

My students are in need of some visual timers to help them work towards managing their time wisely. Some of my students struggle to complete assignments during the designated time. With the visual timers, they will be able to visually see how much time they have left and get their work completed.

Timers are great to help student learn time management!

The addition of the timers to my classroom will help to cut down the verbal reminders for students. A teacher can simply draw the student's attention to the timer to aid in redirecting the student to stay on task and complete assignments!
