This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We would like to make a wall display of the years that our school has been built, showing off all of our school spirit shirts in shadow boxes. How neat would it be to travel through the history from 1975 to the present of our school with a display that is made of shadow box shirts throughout the 50 years! Present and past students and teachers will be able to see the timeline of our school thorugh this display using the black shadow boxes to hold the shirts.
We would like to display the timeline through the main hallway of the school building for everyone to see the years through shirts.
All students, staff, and guardians will be able to enjoy the shirts displayed with black shadow boxes. This years students will be able to help put the shirts into the shadow boxes and help organize them in order of year, just like skills taught in social studies and reading.
