My Project
Schools handle all kinds of important, private information about students and their families. Discarded papers need to be disposed of properly to protect our students' and their families' confidentiality. It is our hope that we can help keep this information out of the hands of strangers by shredding them. This document shredder will be kept in our conference room where we hold Special Education Eligibility and IEP Meetings. As you can imagine, we don't want this information from these meetings getting into the wrong hands.
We keep health records, educational records, addresses, and phone numbers in our school and once the student moves on to another school, this information is then sent electronically and the paper copies need to be stored or disposed of.
We have tried our best to keep things private by locking them up while in our care, but once it goes into the dumpster it's out of our hands. Please help us keep our families and kids safe!
