Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a class of amazing Preschoolers who loves school. When they are in centers learning, I often snap pictures and print from my phone from our printer. My students are excited to see themselves in print and I immediately hang the picture on the bulletin board. This gives them a sense of belonging to their class community.
Many of my students have delayed speech and attend speech classes.
Expressing themselves, even at age 3 is sometimes hard. Having color photos helps them to express themselves in a none threatening way.
After years of usage, unfortunately, our printer is broken.
A new printer will also allow parents to know what their child is doing in the classroom, their success and more, through paper communication.
