This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Teaching young boys and girls is fantastic and very rewarding. Most of the children I teach are economically disadvantaged and lack many things. They are a happy-go-lucky bunch of kids.

Despite all that has happened they come to school and strive for excellence.

The children faced many struggles this year and have stayed strong and dedicated to their school work. They come to school with a smile and continue to give their best effort. They are a wonderful bunch of children.

My Project

We are about half way through the year. The children's school supplies are all used up or are broken. The color pencils and various pens are needed to work in their journals and learning activities. Most of the children's writing utensils are broken or worn down.

The children need their school supplies replenished.

It always feels better to do school work with new, fresh supplies. Some children have broken school boxes that need to be replaced so that their supplies will keep from falling all over the place. The glue and scissors are needed to complete hands-on activities. We need the paper to make copies of the reading books. The laminating pouches will preserve some of their hand-on activities.

They are a great bunch of children that just need a few supplies. Your generous help will ensure that they have the supplies needed to finish the year.
