My Students

My students are all new to the school experience and love exploring the different activities that help them learn and grow. They are all curious and unique. They love to read, build structures, and pretend play during their time in my classroom. Their favorite part of the day is when they get to play and interact with the other students. They are learning to be great friends and will use this skill throughout their childhood and even into their adult life.

My Project

Pretend play is very important in Pre-K. One of the ways that they explore the world around them is by playing with a dollhouse. My students need multi-cultural families to play with so that they all feel welcome in my classroom. This is very important to create a welcoming classroom environment that is conducive to learning and making friends.

Playing with a dollhouse is a good way for young children to explore the world around them and make sense of things that they see at home.

This will benefit their social and emotional developments which is very important at this young age.
