This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a self-contained Kindergarten class so art is only one of the many subjects I teach, but I know that art, in all its forms, is so important to weave throughout the day.

I always use high-quality materials for my art projects so that there is less frustration in completing projects, but also so the project can look beautiful and can be proudly displayed.

I have read recommendations by art teachers for the best tempera paint and this brand was one of the best. I am excited to use this paint with my students and see the joy on their faces when they use it to create their projects.
