Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We start the day off with morning meeting every day. Students have an area with rugs for them to sit on during morning meeting. As we use it every day, we need to take time to clean the rug in between. Allowing students to have responsibilities to clean the rug will allow students to build accountability and feel proud to help out.
Having rugs are great but sometimes students need flexible seating.
I have a bit of different options for flexible seating but I am now thinking that bean bags would also be a great addition to my options for flexible seating.
Giving students more options would help students in the classroom in many ways.
