Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Young learners have a concrete mindset so having hands on learning tools is a must to help them connect their learning. Young learners need resources that can provide them with real life experiences, such as the use of manipulatives, imaginative play, stories, etc.

I love being able to provide hands on experiences for my students to create tangible and engaging lessons.

My students really thrive off of read alouds that they can connect with one way or another. They love to share how they relate to the story and what the story taught them.

My students really benefit from game based learning. Manipulatives and games keep the learning engaging and interesting in a way that they don’t even recognize they’re learning! And in my opinion, that is the best kind of learning!
