My Students
Don't you love having new technology in your classroom, but limited access to it? My students have been so fortunate to receive new iPads in our classroom, but still only 4 students can use them at once. We need your help to get more hands on these devices.
Our school is located in a rural community in Hawaii.
My students come from all over the world and each has different skills, abilities and experiences. As in all schools I have students that don't always have access to technology at home. School is where they are exposed to new technology and ideas.
My Project
Our class has been fortunate enough to receive 4 iPads! I am so excited to see my students able to access this technology and to be enthusiastic about it as well. With 20+ students using this new technology we are in need of a way to have more than one student use an iPad at one time. By using a splitter up to 5 students can all listen to one iPad at a time. This is perfect during our silent reading time and our listening center. With all of these students able to access our iPads we need to also protect them with covers. These covers will automatically shut off our iPads when we are not using them.
New technology is what our students need to keep up with this ever changing world.
By having these wonderful new tools we need to be able to have each child use them fairly and effectively. By donating to our project you will help to make it easier for all of my students to use our iPads and also protect them for future use.
