Help me give my students materials to work in groups with creativity without wasting time. Having staplers, tape, poster markers and dry erase markers available on the table will increase productivity time and allow students to express themselves.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My building is 80%+ free lunch. The majority of my sixth grade students come from disadvantaged, single parent homes. Unfortunately, many of my students don't even live with their own parents, but rather with grandparents or foster homes. Eager to learn, but often without the resources at home, many of my students spend hours at school, outside of regular school hours in the labs, public libraries or with dedicated teachers willing to come in early, or stay late.
Despite the barriers our students face, with the combined efforts and hard work of our dedicated staff, outstanding administration and determined students, we received Performance ratings on our state testing.
We also received our AVID National Demonstration School certification for our efforts and determination to prepare our students for their post secondary educations and/or careers. Additionally we have received AVID's National Site of Distinction for our school-wide implementation.
With hormones racing and bodies changing, these soon to be young adults are struggling with the challenge of growing up, becoming more independent and learning who they are... all while trying to figure out what class to go to and how to open up that dang locker!
My Project
My master plan doesn't meet my budget. Having all the things they might need readily available in the middle of the table will minimize wasted time getting markers, finding the tape dispenser, waiting for the stapler, or borrowing dry erase markers.
With a new curriculum this year centered around discovery learning in groups, I would like to streamline materials management time during group work to use time more efficiently.
Interactive notebooks require a lot of tape to anchor in handouts and other materials. Stapling group papers together takes forever as each table waits for the stapler to come available, only to find someone has jammed it. Group work is supposed to be exploratory, interactive and creative. Chart paper and markers give students opportunity.
