This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students would use the Time magazines to help them know about events happening in different places in the United States and in the world. I think it will be an exciting way to improve their non-fiction reading comprehension. They are already excited about me putting the Time magazine request on Donors Choose and look forward to their first magazine. Time magazine will make non-fiction stories interesting for them. I am also excited to receive the news magazines.

My Project

I will use the Time magazine to talk about the experiences we read about in the magazine. I hear the students talk about sport events and some current events. I think they will like the magazine. They want to know what happens in their world, such as the upcoming Presidential election. They are interested in our military and how long they will be fighting and why they are fighting. I feel Time Magazine will meet their need for this knowledge and also give them more information on animals, countries, and people all over our world. We look forward to the subscription.
