Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school has a high population of students who do not speak English as their primary language. Some of our students come from another country where everyone understands them, to here, where very few people understand them.

Time Kettle headphones would allow my students and their parents to translate what I'm saying out loud in English into their preferred language in their ears.

The technology these earbuds use is amazing! In real time myself and a child or a parent can be speaking two different languages but still communicate together with very little delay.

These earbuds would make a huge difference in my classroom during all parts of the day, first, with instruction. If the student is able to wear half the earbud set, I can seamlessly ask them questions, they can understand the question, and then answer me in their preferred language, which will translate my earbud to English! They would also help me build more meaningful relationships with my students, everyone wants to be heard and understood!

The world of difference these earbuds would make in my classroom is insurmountable!
